HGV Class 2 Driver – Full Time

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team in the Hatfield area. This full-time role involves day shifts delivers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and timely deliveries to various locations, including stores, homes, and sites.
• Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle as required.
• Complete routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain excellent customer service as this role involves direct interaction with clients.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Demonstrate flexibility and commitment to completing assigned routes safely and efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months recent experience driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Valid UK Driving Licence, Full CPC qualification, and DIGI tachograph card.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner.
• No more than six penalty points on licence; endorsements such as DR, DD, or IN are not accepted.
• Possession of the correct PPE, including high-visibility clothing and safety boots.

Employment Details & Remuneration

• Working hours: 07.30 start Monday to 50 hours per week, no weekend work).
• Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year including  bank holidays
• Free on-site parking available.
• Location: Hatfield.
• Contract type: Permanent, full-time.
