We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a thriving kitchen team within a busy hotel restaurant in the heart of Watford.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients and classic techniques. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, supporting services of up to 200 covers, where consistency and attention to detail are key.

You’ll take ownership of your section, ensuring smooth service while maintaining the highest culinary standards. This role would suit a driven and reliable chef looking to progress within a supportive and professional brigade.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
• Managing your own section efficiently during busy service
• Supporting junior team members and maintaining clear communication
• Ensuring your workstation is clean, organised, and fully compliant
• Following all food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Contributing positively to a strong team culture

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi CDP ready to step up
• Solid understanding of fresh food preparation and classic cooking techniques
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Passion for food and continuous development
