CNC Operator

Gotpeople are working with a successful and expanding subcontract engineering company who supply into a range of high-spec industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Food and Scientific sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit CNC Operators to join their busy production team on a temp-to-perm basis.

⚙️ The Role

• Operating CNC Lathes, Milling and/or Grinding machines
• Deburring and finishing precision components
• Using hand tools and specialist finishing equipment
• Supporting general production activities as required

️ Skills & Experience Required

• Previous manufacturing experience (ideally within a CNC or engineering environment)
• Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers and gauges
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

⏰ Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday (day shifts)
• Full-time hours
• Up to £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Location

• Due to the site location, own transport is essential
